if you don't want to listen for others, you're useless
if you listen close with your heart, you're usefull
if you keep looking for other's msitake, you're useless
if you keep looking for your own mistake and improve it, you're usefull...

just a simple thought from me... a lot of thing you can do to make yourself is usefull... not useless...

Canning, should be or should not...

personally as a teacher, i'm fully support canning to be imposed again in school.news today said that the student who had beaten up by a gang of 24 student passed away after comma for a week. why this happened ? long ago, teacher in one of nothern school were beaten up by student... if we want to count... there's so many student problem's involved disciplined.

well, try asking your parent, whether in their time there's news like today.student beat teacher.teacher beat student... NO,again i said NO. why??? because during their time, all students really respect teacher.same as parent.they knew that when teacher punished their chiildren... it's because of their own good.try today, you scold one of your student.. if tomorrow the parent don't come to school searching for you.. they'll sold the news to media.WHY...WHY...WHY...????

because of this attitude, student nowdays has lost respect to teacher. they knew that they are immune. teacher has no right to them. one pinch only... then the whole country will know.if this thing keep going on.... we don't know what will happened in the future.parent nowadays pampered their child too much... one more thing i don't like about parent is they treat us teacher and school as nursery for their child.hey, we 're not your slave to look after your child. as a result, they don't need to find a maid, or find nursery to watch their children. just left in the school and teacher will took care of it.that's why many teacher nowadays have a high blood pressure, even their age not reach 40 yet...

do you know why we must punish student ? we are not monster who will beat for no reason.we also have heart and feeling.we love our student.that's why we want to teach them the proper way by punishing them.

i know many teacher out there agree with me on this.if students follow school's order, finishing their homework and respect their teacher there's no reason for us to punish them.for those who read this, please pass on this message. for parents please look after your child. checked whether they finished their homework or not.advise them regularly.together we shape our next generation. the responsible is not on teacher's shoulder 100%.

Pack Week

almost a week didn't update my blog...

well... last sunday went for kursus asas kejurulatihan pusat ko-kurikulum. for your information, pusat ko-kurikulum is a one stop centre which has all the outdoor facilities and specialty for outdoor learning or pendidikan luar. it''s one of core element in our education system.we can say that every state in malaysia has their own centre. in this centre, they have higher rope element such as, abseiling, flying fox, cat crawling and many more. else, it has facilities for kayak, solo camp, oreinteering, compass, marching, hostel, wall climbing, camp site and many more. well the objective for me going there as to recruit as many trainer as they can. every week many school came and using the centre.they really short hand in term of qualified trainer. and the trainer is only open for teacher, thos who really love outdoor. so i become one of the trainer. start with assistant trainer, they will send for many course to equip the trainer with knowledge. wether you like, water, air or land. and all of this are free... no cost paid... sound nice is it...

for about 5 days, i've been there, many new things i've learn.if possible. i'm targeting to be one of the panel which is th highest rank of trainer scheme.

then come back to school yesterday, and lot of works already waiting.hahaha... 3-5 march i'll be referee for MSSM zon tanjung. in the same month, my school will be host for soccer game and also the pusat koko might call me for assitant coz, they're having a big event in march also. yesterday afternoon, i just got a new job, PROTIM coordinator for year 4. ahahaaa....

PROTIM is a special programme for those student cannot read and write.special programme waiting for them and special modul that i need to follow. huhu... what can i say... just take la...

What Happened ?

what has happened ? you guys must be wandering right about what i'm talking about...

you guys know about ppsmi? conjuction with the ppsmi program in school, we can say that most school have gotten LCD projector and notebooks for teacher... we can count that most school have more that 10 LCD projector... huyyoo..... that much...??? yes.... for lucky school... almost all of their class have LCD attached at their ceiling..., if the school has more than 20 classes??? well... you count it...

so, the issue i would like to bring here is... is it practical enough for school to have lcd in the class ??? how well the teacher used the facilities provided... you can ask aournd... not many.... WHY ???? because it's really hanky panky to setup the projector.... for those that familiar, it'll take roughly about 10-15 minutes... to plug-in the power.... on the laptop, connect the cable and so on... provided the laptop is not hang.what about those are not familiar... 1/2 hour ??? or maybe more... you know how much time for 1 period... yes, only 30 minutes... so how much the time left for teacher to teach ??? if its two period time... maybe worth... if it's only one period.... ????

those lcd also come along with a troley which have power and speaker attached, still it takes time to power on. so, is it practical enough to used??? where you can place the lcd ? you can say... special room like, bilik tayangan, makmal sains, bengkel kh, makmal computer and so on... but still... you must book it first or you will clashed woth other teacher.... so now it's up to the teacher's creativity and time management...

one more thing... my sister from IPG ( Institut Perguruan / Maktab Perguruan ) called yesterday... she said that they already collected some amount of money to buy LCD for their own.... my parent opposed it with some reason.well... for me,it's good and it's bad at the same time... the good thing is they don't need to fight and rush with other ppl if they want to used.the bad thing is what about the maintenance ? what if, it's broken? who's gonna pay for it ? the question is, why the institution don't provide the facilities... same as my time back in the IPG, one department only have one lcd. so we must rush for it if we want to use it... what happen with all the money... supposed the teacher's instituion is the first place where they must equip all this.then come to school.is it IPG is lesser compare to school, so the business opportunity is less... if supplied to school, we can make million ma.... if supplied to IPG only thousands... is it because of this? if those who manage the budget thinking like this... curse on them... only think about money... nothing else... please laa... how much allowance do my sister got... even if they buy for good reason... does the institute not shame... the student buying own projector for lesson/class.i'm not opposing what my sister want to do, and also not supported. 50/50. i also want to do the same thing last time... but my time only one year... and even if i did buy, it's not worth... there's also some of my lecturer bought their own lcd... ish..ish... ish... only because the lcd is not enough...

well.. again who we are to talk... we are nobody... got no name and got no rank... nobody want to listen... if someday, i'll become one of the top... this will be something i'll look up into... pray for me...

My journey had started...

well, as i said before... my time for senang-lenang is over...

this morning i got a letter from melaka education department want me to attend a briefing by unit pendidikan dadah. well, for those who might don't know.. drug addiction is started from primary school... its said that if there is 1:1000 ratio of student taking drugs, mean we got zero drugs, but if 2:1000, then no zero drugs... melaka is targeting zero drugs by 2010.. is it aproachable... depends on the teacher and the students... primary school might not be involved yet in drugs.. but smoking is yes... according to research there's a possibility that the students started to smoke during year 3... suprised??? might not, becaus of influence from media, parents and friends this might happened... well, as for me i need to integrate about 3 hours a year from total lesson... only 3 hours... not much...

then another letter coming in. this one i was the substitue of someone else. i need to attend a course for outdoor trainer, conjuction with outdoor education or pendidikan luar. starting from sunday till thursday. by looking at the schedule... waahhh.... packed wooo... full of happening outdoor activities... like kayak, orienteering, survival and some other stuff need to learn when we doing outdoor stuff. frankly speaking... i left all that a long time ago... ahhahah... need to learn back... nevermind lor... got a certificate ma.. taking outside course... might cost thousands... but as government servant and job requirement.. its free... eheheh

so, tomorrow need to do some shopping.. my shoe already menganga... just afraid the pad might torn off somewhere in the jungle trekking... ahaha

well, most of us are using mozilla right... here is some tweak option you can make so, your mozilla will roar.... more faster...

More savvy users are probably already familiar with editing Firefox’s configuration file but whether you’re a computer rookie or a seasoned veteran, Gnoted has issued a handful of tweaks that really get Firefox cooking. As much as we all love the fox, it can get a bit slow on occasion - especially if you’re like us and have 35 open tabs spread across four windows at any given time. By tweaking the way Firefox handles some caching functions, you can dramatically improve page load speed and even prevent Firefox from hogging your system resources while minimized. If you don’t currently have any experience playing with your configuration file, don’t be scared. Just follow the simple instructions, take your time and if you want a security blanket to squeeze, jot down each setting before you change it so you can always restore the default configuration if need be. So without further ado, hit the jump and get tweaking - just remember to restart Firefox when you’re done.

Reduce the amount of RAM Firefox uses for its cache feature
1. Type “about:config” (no quotes) in the adress bar in the browser.
2. Find “browser.sessionhistory.max_total_viewer”
3. Set it’s value to “0“;(Zero)

Increase the Speed at Which Firefox loads pages
1. Type “about:config” into the address bar and hit Enter.
(Normally the browser will make one request to a web page at a time. When you enable pipelining it will make several at once, which really speeds up page loading.)
2. Alter the entries as follows:
Set “network.http.pipelining” to “true”
Set “network.http.proxy.pipelining” to “true”
Set “network.http.pipelining.maxrequests” to some number like 10.
This means it will make 10 requests at once.
3. Lastly, right-click anywhere and select New-> Integer. Name it “nglayout.initialpaint.delay” and set its value to “0“;.(Zero)
This value is the amount of time the browser waits before it acts on information it receives. If you’re using a broadband connection you’ll load pages faster now. Optionally (for even faster web browsing) here are some more options for your about:config (you might
have to create some of these entries by Right Click –> New– > Interger or String

Reduce RAM usage to 10MB when Firefox is minimized:
This little hack will drop Firefox’s RAM usage down to 10 Mb when minimized:
1. Open Firefox and go to the Address Bar. Type in about:config and then press Enter.
2. Right Click in the page and select New -> Boolean.
3. In the box that pops up enter “config.trim_on_minimize”. Press Enter.
4. Now select True and then press Enter.
5. Restart Firefox.
