Courts, Tudung, Big Apple and Rush

well, weekdays is just same like all weekdays... spent time with family...

today got agenda with my wife...

first we go to courts, just to window shopping... looking around. there's a small catalog of courts arrived at our front door.when she checked, found out some nice tv drawer with price so-so. we just checked it to 'feel' it whether it's appropriate with our room or not. turn out is a no. so nothing to loose.

then checked for her tudung. hmm... just follow la... who doesn't love their wife right... then we go to dataran pahlawan. her friend from sarawak, order some doughnuts from big apple. we wandering a lot in the plaza looking for the place. turn out it's under carrefour... basement. just in front of the equatorial hotel. if i know that earlier, i'l park somewhere closer. i've bee nwandering how to sent it to sarawak. it's a food. and to be specific it's a doughnut. with cheese, choc and so many toppings.. for sure when it arrives, it'll have look like disaster... with the wheather and so on... i doubt it can handle the tough journey to there... but like my wife said... they want to eat... what to do... so, we'll mail it to sarawak though on monday...

then, hahaha.. my wife's dream car is toyota rush... so i just bring her to toyota showroom and have her look at her car. the salesman offer to test drive... jackpot... i took the key and drove away... feel okay, comfort, and how can you put it... not bad at all. the view is nice... maybe we'll collect some money as a downpayment.... wish us all the best..

so tonight, my wife will sleep in sweet dream... dreaming of her car...

Intel Develop OS???

yeah right... no kidding.. you know about netbooks? it's term for mini notebooks. i'd bought one for my wife ( using her money, i just help her bought.. hehehe ). Well, can say it's small and lightweight. very suitable for lady. adn suit my wife very well...

okay, back to title... most of the netbooks using windows xp home as their OS. Even though it's has 2 GB or ram, it's use Intel Atom Processor, which smaller version for netbooks. Intel spoke, they want to developed theri own OS specifically for Netbooks using atom processor whch is call Moblin.Based on Linux, Intel’s “Moblin” (perhaps as in, "hey, I’m mobilin’ around with my netbook!") reached its first alpha release earlier this week.

The alpha release is available freely for testing of the following:

• The core Linux O/S, boot process, inter-process, and package interactions.
• The new "Fastboot" feature of Moblin, which fundamentally improves boot time and allows for unprecedented speed for a general purpose Linux.
• Connectivity and networking, using the new ConnMan connectivity manager.
• Kernel 2.6.29-rc2.
• The Moblin Core Components (first look at this), including Clutter and all other UI development tools.
• Xserver 1.6 (with DRI2).
• New Moblin Image Creator (MIC2) and installation tool

"Manusia menjadi musuh dengan apa-apa yang tidak diketahuinya." - ini adalah pepatah orang-orang Arab. Bukan hadis nabi. Namun demikian, kata-kata ini banyak kebenarannya. Saya sedikit agak kecewa, bahkan mungkin merungut sedikit. Saya memohon maaf jika tulisan saya kali ini agak pedas dan keras (syadid) sikit daripada biasa. Hal ini adalah kerana saya sememangnya tidak gemar apabila seseorang begitu mudah memberi hukum tanpa usul periksa. Isu memboikot barang-barang tertentu yang jelas bersekongkol dengan Israel, saya tegaskan bahawa saya sangat bersetuju dilaksanakan, tetapi lakukan boikot tersebut dengan bijaksana dan berhikmah. Bukan dengan membuta-tuli atau berlandaskan kejahilan serta kebodohan yang kita miliki.

Umat Islam menjadi lemah adalah disebabkan sifat ingin tahu mereka terlalu rendah. Malah, untuk mencari ilmu pengetahuan pun kita begitu malas. Umat Islam, khususnya di Malaysia- lebih gemar mendengar khabar angin daripada menyelidik untuk mencari kebenaran. Lantaran itu, apabila kejahilan yang kita ikuti pasti akan mendekatkan diri kita ke gaung kehancuran. Isu memboikot restoran makanan segera KFC telah dilancarkan secara besar-besaran dalam kalangan bloggers, saya tidak tahu sama ada ia berlaku secara terancang, mahu pun terjadi atas dasar kejahilan kita sendiri. Namun demikian, hal ini sedikit sebanyak mengundang rasa kecewa dalam kalangan pengurus-pengurus kanan KFC Holdings Berhad - dan sudah tentu juga bagi Pihak Tan Sri Muhammad Ali Hashim, CEO JCorp yang menguasai syarikat Kulim Berhad, dan pada masa yang sama, Kulim Berhad merupakan pemegang saham terbesar dalam KFC Holdings Berhad.

Nampaknya, kejahilan dan kebodohan kita selama ini, telah menyebabkan kita tidak mahu menyelidik dan mencari kebenaran, malah lebih gemar mendengar khabar angin daripada realiti. Tidak ramai yang tahu betapa susah dan gigihnya kumpulan Tan Sri Muhammaa Ali Hashim bertungkus-lumus untuk beberapa tahun, semata-mata mahu menguasai KFC Holdings daripada tangan orang lain. Keluar masuk mahkamah dan pelbagai lagi cabaran, demi memastikan KFC Holdings menjadi milik orang Islam. Namun demikian, apabila kita malas untuk mencari kebenaran, maka yang kita peroleh adalah kejahilan. Dan apabila kejahilan yang kita sebarkan ia bukan sekadar membuka pintu fitnah, bahkan menunjukkan mentaliti umat Islam yang lebih mudah dipengaruhi oleh khabar angin daripada menyelidik terlebih dahulu sesuatu maklumat yang diterima.

Sejak akhir-akhir ini tersebar luas kempen untuk memboikot KFC di seluruh Malaysia, tidak kurang juga risalah yang bertaburan di masjid-masjid menyeru umat Islam Malaysia agar memboikot KFC Malaysia. Yang lebih malang, kempen boikot KFC yang penuh dengan fitnah ini datangnya daripada mulut mereka yang tahu hukum hakam agama bahkah bergelar Imam dan Ustaz. Padahalnya, mereka sendiri tanpa sedar menyokong rejim Ziones dengan menghisap rokok di kaki tangga masjid. Bukankah lebih molek dan baik jika lakukan kempen membiokot rokok? tidakkah kita tahu rokok itu haram hukumnya? membawa banyak fasad (kerosakan) ke atas tubuh badan manusia? Dan pelik apabila ada manusia yang menyuruh memboikot makanan yang halal tetapi berdiam diri tentang rokok? Mengapa sampai begitu jahilnya kita ini? Jika kita rasa bahawa kita tidak tahu, sama ada KFC Malaysia terlibat dalam menyalurkan royalti (bayaran cukai) kepada KFC Amerika Syarikat yang menyokong Israel, lebih baik kita diam. Jangan membawa fitnah ke sana ke mari, semata-mata kerana kita sendiri tidak berapa pasti maklumat tersebut dan hanya mendengar khabar angin.

Saya sempat menghubungi pegawai-pegawai kanan Tan Sri Muhammad Ali Hashim sebentar tadi- ternyata mereka sangat kecewa dengan kempen kotor lagi tidak bermaruah ini. Jelas, masyarakat kita kurang mengambil berat terhadap kesahihah sumber maklumat dan kurang amanah dalam ilmu pengetahuan. Perlu dijelaskan, bahawa KFC Malaysia hanya menggunakan jenama (brand) KFC semata-mata dan tidak membayar apa-apa cukai atau sebarang keuntungan kepada KFC induk di Amerika Syarikat. Cuma membayar yuran penggunaan jenama. KFC Malaysia adalah hak milik kita. Ia halal di makan tidak seperti rokok.

Menurut Pegawai-pegawai kanan Tan Sri Muhammad Ali Hashim, ini semua adalah fitnah dan boleh menjejaskan pendapatan para pekerja di restoran-restoran KFC di seluruh Malaysia yang berjumlah 19 000 orang itu. Malah, rata-rata pekerjanya terdiri daripada orang Melayu-Islam. Jika para pemboikot itu sanggup menyediakan pekerjaan baharu kepada mereka, itu tiada masalah, silalah boikot. Tetapi malangnya, yang kita tahu hanya memboikot, apabila disuruh untuk menderma ke dalam tabung bantuan rakyat Palestin kita hanya sanggup masukkan RM 5 saja ke dalam peti derma di tepi pintu masjid. Sekarang, mari kita bertanya di manakah kita letakkan keutamaan jihad kita? memboikot sebuah produk yang terbukti salah untuk diboikot atau menggandakan jumlah derma kita kepada rakyat Palestin? Tepuk dada, tanya iman dan bukan tanya kepada Aiman.

Saya tegaskan sekali lagi, tiada salah untuk memboikot - tetapi biar secara bijaksana, berhikmah dan berilmu. Pilih betul-betul produk yang jelas menyalurkan bantuan kepada Rejim Ziones tersebut, jangan main sedap boikot saja. Umat Islam mundur kerana kita ketepikan soal (bijaksana) sebab kita jarang baca al-Quran. Lantaran itu kita mudah diperkotak-katik oleh bangsa lain. Adalah lebih baik pada pandangan saya kita boikot semua jenama rokok. Jelas ia memudaratkan kesihatan, malah jenama syarikat-syarikat besar rokok antarabangsa belum tentu selamat daripada dikaitkan dengan negara Israel.

Oleh yang demikian, saya menyeru kepada sesiapa sahaja, pergilah menjamu selera di restoran-restoran KFC, jangan ragu dan jangan gusar. Ia bukan sahaja halal, malah KFC Malaysia adalah milik orang Islam dan tidak terlibat dalam menyumbang wang atau royalti kepada negara Israel. Malah, ramai yang tidak tahu berapa juta ringgit yang telah didermakan oleh JCorp hasil keuntungan KFC kepada tabung rakyat Palestin. Semua ini memerlukan kita berhati-hati sebelum memboikot.

Tan Sri Muhammad Ali Hashim yang bertanggungjawab memperkenalkan Jihad Bisnes dan Jihad Ekonomi. Usaha beliau harus dipuji dalam menegakkan Islam melalui perniagaan.

My Punishment...

don't get wrong... not my punishment... but my punishment to my student...

my lecturer said... when you teach, first you must be strict... like pull a bolt to a nut. tight it as tight as you can... then slowly, loosen a bit... if you found that the student did something... tight it back... well that's what i've been applied... in my first class, i already said... don't make me mad or don't make me feel uneasy... i'll reply back three times... well as i said... after a holiday for 4 days.... 4 DAYS... not just normal weekend.... 25 out of 30 student didn't do the homework... can you imagine... so what had said must be done... i made them walk to teacher's room and face all the teacher inside and say the magic word " Cikgu, saya x buat kerja rumah ( teacher, i didn't do the homework )"... and up to the teacher what they want to do... it's a bit psychology... most of the student have a teacher which they are fear... ( maybe i didn't put in their list as the one they must fear )... if they face her/him... they will feel uneasy, shame and so on. not my intention to shame them... but just to make them realise what they have done wrong... i already did it once during my training in JB, and i think it goes well... the one which is vey naughty... slowly change... hopefully the same goes here... i pray and hope they didn't repeat it again... my body is trembling and shaking for holding the rage... i can't pick on them... so it the least i can do... my ears also turn red... ( only when i'm really angry )...

during PE, i made my student ( different class ) play local tradiosional games... ' pukul berapa datuk harimau'. nowadays many local games slowly disappering... kids nowadyas only know PS2, computer, shuffle... and so on... very little know about this... basically, one person will act as datuk harimau ( tiger granpa)... while the rest will follow him at the back and said " pukul berapa datuk harimau'... the person in front will reply with 1 o'clock, 2 or else... we'll st for example the lunch time is 12 o'clock... so once the datuk harimau said 12 o'clock, he will turn back and catch whoever is nearer... while the rest will run and save their life... into the 'house' ( area mark where the datuk harimau cannot enter ). it's quite fun.. and i think i'll find books on local games... to teach them more...

well, starting now i'll be using english... heheh........ just to make sure my english not 'berkarat'...

just got vidz klip from my junior for aerobics stuff.well, i need this to teach my student during PE. allways playing football. very boring stuff. did you remember what you did during PE period when you at school, sometimes the teacher toss a ball at the field and told you to play with the whole class.sometimes it's fun and boring too...

i didn't want to repeat what my teacher did to me, so i have to think a new activiites ti did with students... last week, we play ' baling selipar'. but i cahnge the rule a bit. we use hockey ball. but didn't throw to friends, once hit your head, can ' berlubang' ma... so i told them to thide the ball inside their shirt and touch the ball to their friend's body. the tricky part is, all the team must hide their hand inside the shirt, so the opponent team cannto guess which one holding the ball... very funny to look at them chasing around... at one time.. the only left one girl... but the whole team have to chase her around... wauuu... this girl really can run you know...

well, maybe for my next class... i'll create a new game... to be a teacher you must be creative....
